In essence, it will be a scientific battle where proponents of a certain approach and skeptics will have equal opportunities to voice their opinion on the matter. Their presentations will be followed by questions to each other and from the audience. This format will bring to light the complexity and all the intricacies of the discussed techniques.
The experts will present the techniques of en bloc bladder tumor resection, shed light on the potential of organ-sparing surgery and explore the benefits of active surveillance for renal cancer. The latest techniques for BPH will be presented during a separate section. Among them are aquablation – removal of any prostatic tissue mass in mere seconds – and UroLift which aims at recovery of normal urination, even in patients with multiple comorbidities. Laser surgery for BPH will also be explored.
CT-guided renal cancer ablation, robotic cystectomy, robotic surgery and endoscopic enucleation for BPH will be discussed in the pro at contra format.
