Prostate Cancer Management: Change is Coming
This is the first time that our country has hosted an international conference on treatment of prostate cancer, the most common cancer in males.
The event titled Prostate Cancer Management: Change is Coming was a joint effort on the part of Sechenov University and EAU Society of Uro-Technology (ESUT).
The organizers stressed the key aspect of modern medical science: any cutting edge technology quickly becomes a thing of the past. Among the key topics covered were biomarkers, imaging techniques, lasers and focal treatment which hold the key to the future of prostate cancer management.
